Texas Property Tax Arbitrators Alternative Dispute Resolution Update

  8 Hour Continuing Education Course

CLASSES NOT CONDUCTED AT THIS TIME

 

This course is offered in a classroom setting and is intended for persons already on the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Property Tax Assistance Division Registry of Arbitrators.  The course teaches the updated rules and laws in dispute resolution.  This class will include SB / HB 2.

 

This course satisfies the Texas Comptroller's requirement that renewals for the Arbitrator Registry complete at least 8 hours of continuing education per Texas Comptroller Property Tax Code Section 41A.061.

 

Please note due to the online nature of the program there is NO TREC Credit, TSCPA Credit, or MCLE being offered at this time.

 

START AND END TIMES

 

The course will start promptly at 9:00 AM and end at 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.  Attendance will be handled through a variety of polling questions throughout the program.  Students who miss polling questions will have time deducted from their certificates.

REFUNDS AND NO SHOWS

 

Refund requests can only be made by contacting Loretta Higgins at 713.726.6414 at least 72 hours before the start of the course.  A $25.00 administration fee will be charged on all refunds. Refunds are issued via check and mail certified mail.  Those who register and do not attend will not receive a refund.

Please have your camera on and wear clothing.

 

CERTIFICATES

 

After the course, certificates will be emailed to the address of record.  Only paid participants who attend and answer the polling questions will receive their certificates.
